Just outside of Brixham, local attractions Coleton Fishacre and Greenway are close to Raddicombe. Brixham has been a working fishing port for centuries with fisherman's cottages clustered around the bustling harbour. The town has many winding narrow streets with a wide selection of shops, art gallery, craft shops and various cafes, restaurants and pubs. Brixhams beaches are a mixture of sand and shingle. The popular open air sea water swimming pool is surrounded by a shingle and rock beach which is great for rock pooling. There are lovely coastal footpaths to Berry Head with its colonies of nesting Guillimots and Kittiwakes, the Napoleonic Fort and the lighthouse.
