The Willows is an 18th Century tearoom and restaurant offering superb bed and breakfast accommodation in the charming village of Shillingstone in Dorset. We offer a friendly welcome, quiet and comfortable rooms and traditional home-made fayre, including delicious scones and cakes! We are very experienced in catering for your special event or function, and we also offer bike hire, and the benefit of a French speaker should you so require!
On the ground floor, we have a twin / double en-suite room and also, a double room with adjacent bathroom on the first floor. Both are immaculately presented with TV / DVD, hospitality tray for making hot drinks and a hairdryer. Wifi is available on request. We have a wake-up call service, and laundry facilities if required. Breakfast is freshly cooked every morning and encompasses a lovely range of options, including a full farmhouse breakfast, vegetarian option or lighter bites. We use primarily local and organic produce and can provide packed lunches and dinner if needed. We offer books, cards and board games which guests can use in the evenings.
Shillingstone is a historical village which featured in the Domesday Book of 1086. It is found in the Blackmore Vale area of North Dorset, part of the Stour Valley and Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is excellent walking, fishing, climbing and riding country. Blandford Forum is a nearby Georgian market town with plenty of shops and amenities for travellers.
