The Golden Lion is a former 18th century coaching inn offering fine food, drink and comfortable accommodation in the heart of Newport. Close to beaches and beautiful coastal walks, it is perfect as a holiday base or as a stopover in Pembrokeshire. We have 13 guestrooms with en suite bathrooms, complimentary toiletries, Wifi and hospitality tray with Welsh bottled water.

Guest room rates include a delicious breakfast from a choice including a Full Welsh breakfast, vegetarian breakfast or kippers. Our restaurant is open throughout the day offering a seasonal menu of locally caught fish, Welsh meat dishes or vegetarian options. We have childrens menus and can cater for special diets. Our bar offers a great place to relax and unwind with a choice of local ales, ciders and whiskies on offer. We also have live music nights on a Saturday. We are dog friendly.
