Kidderminster

Kidderminster is a large town in the Wyre Forest district of Worcestershire. The River Stour and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal flow through the town centre. Kidderminster has three shopping centres and a retail park, as well as a twice weekly outdoor retail market. There are plenty of excellent cafes, pubs and restaurants for the hungry and thirsty! Kidderminster also has many beautiful Victorian buildings. The Town Hall is one such building, which today, is a centre of live music in the Wyre Forest, from heavy rock concerts to professional entertainers, local choirs, bands and orchestras. Visit the Museum of Carpet and the world-famous Severn Valley Heritage Railway for a day of fun. For outdoors enthusiasts, the canal towpath to neighbouring Stourport and the River Severn is popular with walkers, cyclists and sailors alike. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the course and facilities at Kidderminster Golf Club through the majority of the week. Other attractions close by include Bodenham Arboretum and Harvington Hall.
