The George Inn

A warm welcome awaits travellers at The George Inn, located in the heart of historic Selby. A 15th century former coaching inn, we offer an extensive bar, great food, comfortable guest bedrooms, ample car parking and bicycle lock up. The railway station is also only a 6-minute walk away.

Our rooms offer contemporary decor, sumptuous Hypnos beds and en suite facilities. There are single, double, twin and triple rooms each also equipped with Wifi, TV and refreshment tray for making hot drinks. A delicious breakfast is included to help you start the day.

As well as breakfast, our restaurant is open for lunch and evening meals and you can find local ales, cocktails and much more at the bar. There is also our nightclub ‘Popworld’ next door which provides late night entertainment every Saturday.
