Welcome to Herriots Hotel with Rhubarb Restaurant; an independently-owned establishment offering terrific food and accommodation in Skipton. Ideally situated on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales and only 5 minutes from the canal path, we provide a comfortable place to stay for walkers, cyclists or those holidaying in North Yorkshire.

Our guest rooms are stylish and unique; dressed in designer fabrics and beautiful furnishings. There are single, double and twin bedrooms, all with en suite facilities, free Wifi, Freeview TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. For an extra special stay, Superior Rooms include a Nespresso coffee machine, docking station, grand king size or 4-poster bed and deep bath tubs. Designated rooms are dog-friendly.

Rhubarb Restaurant serves a variety of superb dishes throughout the day, including a fresh fish, grill and steak options and a selection of specialty pies. Afternoon tea and our Sunday lunches are also a popular choice. There are ‘Stay and Dine’ packages available and we can even host weddings, special events and business meetings.
