Mulgrave Estate

Mulgrave Estate is a beautiful country estate extending to 15,000 acres, close to the beautiful and historic town of Whitby in the North York Moors National Park. We have a selection of self-catering garden cottages offering luxurious holiday accommodation, including a quirky railway carriage and parcel waggon.. Some have sea views and the cottages are ideal for couples, families or groups.

The largest is Vancouver Cottage for 8 / 9 guests which is Visit England 5-Star Gold rated. It has 4 bedrooms including 2 king size rooms and 2 twins, a spacious lounge, fully-equipped kitchen / diner with Aga stove and modern cooker; wet room and 2 bathrooms. The smallest is Holly Cottage which offers Visit England 4-Star Gold rated accommodation for couples. The other cottages can sleep 4, 6 and up to 7. Details of all can be viewed on our website.

There is a sandy beach no more than 40 metres away from the cottages; with a restaurant and pub in the village of Sandsend on the estate. Dogs are welcome in all of the properties and there are many lovely walks and outdoors activities along the coast and in the surrounding countryside.
