The Farmhouse is a luxurious boutique guest house and holiday cottage in a 100 acre country estate at the heart of the wonderful North York Moors National Park. Our closest village is Goathland which was known as 'Aidensfield' in the television series 'Heartbeat'. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has a heritage station in Goathland, which was 'Hogsmeade' station from the early Harry Potter films.

The Farmhouse has 2 guest rooms in the 18th century farmhouse, each spacious and luxuriously furnished. The Pigeon Loft spans the upper floor and is accessed by a private staircase. It has a beamed vaulted ceiling, super king size bed which can also be arranged as twin beds and a large en suite bathroom with a free standing bath. The Garden Room is light and airy with king size bed, en suite shower room and tranquil views across the garden.

The 2 cottages, The Bull Pen and The Potting Shed are both lovingly refurbished former farm buildings providing all the facilities for a self-catering retreat for couples. All of our guests can arrange to have a home cooked farmhouse evening meal, produced from local ingredients including fresh fish from Whitby. We also stock a range of delicious wines from the Wine Society, beers from several local breweries and cider from Ampleforth Abbey.
