Black Bull Inn

The Black Bull Inn is a traditional pub with rooms in Boroughbridge near York. A Grade II listed building dating back to 1278, it has been providing a welcoming place to rest throughout the centuries. Travellers can enjoy a drink from the well-stocked bar, great food and cosy guest rooms. Dogs are also welcome.

Rooms are comfortable, with en suite facilities, telephone and a beverage tray. A full English breakfast is served in the morning to ensure a good start to the day. Guests can sit in the cosy snug or main bar area and enjoy a real ale in front of the roaring fire. If you are lucky you might even catch a glimpse of our resident ghost!

Food is served at lunchtime and in the evening from a menu of traditional pub classics. There is also a children’s menu available. Easy to find, just off the A1 (M) road, we welcome guests calling in for a pint or those wanting a stopover or holiday base to explore this area of North Yorkshire.
