Galtres Lodge

Galtres Lodge Hotel, Bar and Restaurant in York is centrally situated on Low Petergate. Close to York Minster, The Shambles and York’s Chocolate Story, this hotel provides a relaxed place to stay and is dog-friendly. Although we do not have on-site parking, the nearest car park is only 5-minutes’ walk away with our guests receiving a discount.

There are a selection of 12 bedrooms available, comprising Standard, Superior, Romantic Rooms, Small and Single Rooms. All are equipped with en suite facilities, toiletries, TV and refreshment tray. Some rooms have views of York Minster and those on the second and third floors have beautiful oak beams.

The restaurant boasts original oak beams, exposed brick walls and traditional fireplaces. During the daytime, enjoy breakfast, lunch, home-made cakes, daily freshly baked scones and afternoon tea. In the evening, the superb a la carte menu includes something for everyone.
