Lendal Tower dates back to the reign of Richard the Lionheart and has stood next to the River Ouse since 1299, offering a unique place to stay in the heart of York. After a careful and sensitive restoration, this property now provides Visit England 5-Star Gold rated self-catering accommodation for up to 6 guests.

Spanning 3 floors, the character of the building remains, with beautiful original wood panelled walls, ornate ceilings and exposed beams. There is a living room, dining hall, spiral staircase, kitchen and 3 bedrooms comprising a double room in the mezzanine, a first-floor en suite double bedroom and a second-floor master bedroom with 4-poster bed and en suite bathroom.

The Tower has many contemporary additions including Wifi, central heating, washing machine and dishwasher. At the top is a large roof terrace with seating and panoramic views across the river. On the doorstep are numerous attractions and amenities, including river boat trips, ghost walks, galleries and theatres, as well as lots of shops, restaurants and pubs.
