The Durham Ox is a 300-year-old Yorkshire pub with accommodation situated in the village of Crayke on the edge of the Howardian Hills, 13 miles north of York. Guests can enjoy a drink in the rustic bar, stay in one of the guest rooms or in the converted 3-bedroomed cottage in the village. Listed in the Good Pub Guide, Sawdays Special Places and with a Visit England Breakfast Award, this friendly haven is not to be missed.

All rooms are luxurious, with some allowing dogs. Most rooms are in the renovated farm cottage with beamed ceilings, en suite facilities, twin beds or a king size bed, TV, honesty bar and beverage tray. The Studio is above the pub in the main building, and has a super king size bed, private balcony and stunning views across the hills. Bed and breakfast or half board rates are available.

For self-catering accommodation, choose Ivy Cottage for 6 people, with its own lounge, kitchen / diner and garden area. There is ample parking for all, and we can also arrange flowers or champagne to be waiting on arrival for special occasions.
