Elmfield House

Elmfield House is host to both a delightful B & B and a self-catering cottage called Elmfield Lodge. The properties are located in peaceful Lower Wensleydale, 6 miles from the market town of Bedale. Elmfield House offers a delicious homemade breakfast every morning made with fresh, local ingredients where possible.

Each of the rooms are furnished with everything you’ll need for an enjoyable stay, such as en suite bathrooms and some of the rooms have dual-aspect windows with sweeping views over the paddocks and rolling hills. Elmfield Lodge features a spectacular open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room combination as well as a cosy double bedroom.

Elmfield House is the ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Dales due to its proximity to the A1 road. Middleham Castle, the childhood home of Richard III, is only a 20-minute drive away, as is the Theatre Royal in Richmond, the most complete original Georgian theatre in England.
