Clyde House

Welcome to Clyde House, an 18th century guest house situated in the historic market town of Leyburn on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Visit England 4-Star Silver rated with a Breakfast and ROSE Award, guests will experience excellent hospitality from friendly owners Sean and Heather. Parking is available within a few minutes’ walk in the main square in Leyburn.

The 5 guest rooms are equipped with en suite shower facilities, bathrobes, a TV, room controlled central heating, hairdryer and refreshment tray. There is a double, deluxe room with sleigh bed and 2 twin rooms featuring beamed ceilings. Breakfast includes a range of options, including a full Yorkshire, vegetarian breakfast or smoked haddock. Ingredients are locally sourced, and special diets are catered for at Clyde House.

Leyburn is a busy market town in Wensleydale. There is a weekly general market on Fridays and a livestock market on Wednesday and Friday each week. Tennants, the largest auction house in the country, is located just outside the town. The Wensleydale Railway has a regular summer service from Leeming Bar to Redmire for Castle Bolton passing through Leyburn.
