The Bridge Inn

The Bridge Inn is a 15th century former coaching inn nestled on the banks of the River Swale in Grinton near Richmond. Surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with well-appointed accommodation, a good food menu and a wide range of drinks, including many local real ales, pets are also welcome.

There are 5 bedrooms; 2 doubles, a twin and 2 family rooms. Each is equipped with Wifi, a TV and refreshment tray. A full English breakfast is included. Guests can relax in the bar lounge or outside in the evening. All food served in the restaurant has been produced, shot or caught locally. The menu includes a range of game and seafood dishes plus homemade puddings.

The Yorkshire Dales National Park boasts some of the finest walking trails in Northern England. Fishing can be enjoyed all over Swaledale and daily fishing permits are available to buy from the Bridge. Cycling is another popular activity, and the Dales Bike Centre is just up the road offering bike tours, hire bikes and detailed information about the best cycle tracks.
