Black Lion Hotel

The Black Lion Hotel is a Georgian-era former coaching inn situated in the historic market town of Richmond, on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. A family-run business offering comfortable guest rooms, a superb bistro and licensed bar, The Black Lion has been providing a welcoming place to stay for travellers throughout the centuries.

AA 3-Star Gold rated, there are single, double, twin and family rooms, all with their own en suite facilities or private bathroom. Each has Wifi, a TV, hairdryer and beverage tray. There are also pet-friendly rooms, bike lock up and car parking. A delicious breakfast is included in all tariffs and will be served in the first-floor bistro in the morning.

The bar lounge is a friendly place to relax with a drink or two. Serving locally-brewed Black Sheep and Timothy Taylor Ales, there is also a wide range of wines, spirits and ciders.
