The Golden Lion at Settle

Welcome to The Golden Lion at Settle, a 17th century era former coaching inn situated in the centre of this market town on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales. With spacious guest rooms, delicious food and excellent hospitality, it offers a friendly place to stay or call in whilst exploring the area.

Rooms are decorated to give them a light and airy feel. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, Smart TV, Wifi, well stocked beverage tray and a few little extras to make you feel at home. There are double, twin and character rooms with a comfortable sofa and powerful showers.

All food served is freshly cooked to order and made from locally produced ingredients whether you are sampling one of the hearty breakfasts, enjoying lunch or having an evening meal. There are children’s menus, tapas menus and special diets can be accommodated. The bar is open from lunchtime for an array of local ales and fine wines.
