Mervyn House

Set back from the road, with beautiful gardens, there is private car parking and regular local buses to Lyme Regis, Bridport and Weymouth accessed from the main road.

The accommodation is in the newly-built annexe at Mervyn House, with a clean, fresh feel. Guests will find a twin bedroom, single bedroom, lounge with armchairs, wood burning-effect electric stove, TV and dining table; plus a well-equipped kitchen with washing machine. Breakfasts can be provided if required.

The village has a shop/post office, tea rooms and 2 pubs which serve food and offer a take-away menu. Chideock is part of the Jurassic Coast and offers coastal footpaths which lead to Eype, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The beach at Seatown is approximately 15 minutes’ walk away where you will find The Anchor Inn at the foot of Golden Cap.
