West Dorset Cottages

West Dorset Cottages; comprising The Burrow, Chiddy Nook and Gingerbread Cottage, are all located in the beautiful village of Chideock, just inland from the Jurassic Coast in the West Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nestled in the grounds of Warren House, with Gingerbread just over the garden wall / round the corner, owners Jane and Laurie Elliot offer a warm welcome to all guests.

The Burrow (sleeping 5) and Chiddy Nook (sleeping 4) are 16th century stone built cottages and Gingerbread Cottage (sleeping 3) is a pretty period stone and thatched cottage opposite the village church with upstairs countryside views. Each property has their own garden, seating area and parking. Wifi is available and pets are welcome in Chiddy Nook and Gingerbread. Guests will find some provisions and home-made cake on arrival!

These fine cottages are perfectly located near to Bridport, Lyme Regis, Charmouth and West Bay and are just a 15-minute walk to the beach and SW Coast Path at Seatown. Chideock is overlooked by Colmer’s Hill to the east and Golden Cap to the west and the landscape is criss-crossed with many footpaths. Fossil-hunters can find specimens on the local beaches. There are also 3 friendly local pubs serving food.
