Plumber Manor Country House Hotel & Restaurant

Plumber Manor Country House Hotel and Restaurant in Dorset is an early 17th century property, built in a Jacobean style and situated in beautiful grounds. Located 2 miles outside of the town of Sturminster Newton, and steeped in history, the hotel is run by the ancestors of Charles Brune who built the manor in the early 1600s.

There are 6 guest rooms in the main house and another 10 rooms in the beautifully-converted stone barn overlooking the river. All offer stylish decor with many characterful original features, historic furnishings and a host of modern amenities. There are double, twin, family and accessible rooms. Some are dog-friendly.

Our restaurant sources the finest ingredients and perfectly pairs flavours for a superb range of dishes. There is a fine wine list and delicious cocktail menu to compliment your meal. We have been in the Good Food Guide for over 40 years and exclusive bookings or hospitality packages are available for weddings and special events.
