Tros yr Afon

Tros yr Afon have a range of excellent self-catering cottages within the grounds of a 19th century manor house in Penmon, near the town of Beaumaris. Nestled within 6 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland and less than half-a-mile away from the beach, the cottages cater for couples, families and groups of friends. Tros yr Afon can also be hired as a wedding venue.

Ranging in size from Y Stiwdio, which is a cosy first floor apartment for 2 people plus a child; all the way up to Ty Mawr Manor House which can sleep up to 18 people, there is something for everyone. The other cottages sleep 4, 5, 6 and 8 guests. Details of all are available on our website and exclusive bookings are available for weddings, events or large groups. Guests can explore the scenic grounds or play a game on the tennis courts.

Penmon is a village on the south-eastern tip of the Isle of Anglesey, about 3 miles east of Beaumaris. The village is the site of an historic monastery and 12th-century church. Penmon has an award-winning beach and the Anglesey Coastal Path follows its shores. There are fine views of Snowdonia  across the Menai Strait. The location is ideal for people exploring the history of the area and those interested in outdoor pursuits.
