The Dartmoor Lodge

The hotel has 23 bedrooms from single to king-size and even has some four-poster rooms. All guest rooms are en-suite, immaculately presented and come with TV, Wifi, telephone, hospitality tray, hairdryer and ironing facilities. We have an excellent oak-beamed bar and restaurant with a real fire to warm your toes. We serve a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner and range of light bites. With a licensed bar serving CAMRA ales, you will find no better place to relax after a day out walking and exploring the stunning local area.

The hotel is ideally located for exploring Dartmoor with its 368 square miles of natural beauty and perfect those interested in any outdoor activities including walking, cycling, canoeing, pony trekking, bird watching and fishing. We have a drying room at the hotel for any water enthusiasts, and we are also dog friendly! Ashburton is an interesting and historical town situated mid-way between Exeter and Plymouth, and close to excellent transport links, making it the perfect base for your holiday.
