City Gate Hotel

The City Gate has recently undergone a tasteful refurbishment and offers excellent accommodation in the centre of Exeter, just moments away from the famous Exeter Cathedral, Guildhall and Princesshay shopping centre. We have a pub and dining area as well as function rooms, for those special occasions. The Hotel has 15 bedrooms, which are all immaculately presented and come equipped with Sky TV, Wifi, tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, ironing facilities and high-quality complimentary toiletries. Breakfast is served in our lovely dining room, but you can eat in our sun-filled conservatory or in the landscaped gardens on sunny days.

Exeter is the county town of Devon and is always bustling and never boring! It has excellent shopping and a great nightlife. The Quayside area offers excellent walks with plenty to see and do including galleries, bars and eateries. The Royal Albert Memorial Museum is well worth a visit, as are the Underground Passages. Exeter is an excellent base for your stay in the area as it is so close to the award-winning beaches of Devon and Cornwall and also to Dartmoor National Park, which can not be beaten for its beautiful rugged landscapes and range of outdoor activities.
