Peat Gate Shepherd's Hut

For a back-to-nature experience along the South Tyne Valley in the Northumberland countryside, come and stay at Peat Gate Shepherd’s Hut. Situated in a scenic rural location just 4 miles outside of Haltwhistle, this beautifully presented timber-built hut offers excellent facilities for a self-catering holiday.

The hut has an open plan living area with comfortable seating, a wood burning stove and features an integrated oven, hob, fridge, Belfast sink and dining table. There is a double bed in the alcove at one end of the hut, and a en suite shower room at the other. Wifi is available.

Outside the hut, there is an enclosed lawn area, bike storage and car parking. The location is perfect for walking and cycling opportunities, with the Hadrian’s Wall path passing close by. There is also fishing, golfing and stargazing in Kielder Forest Dark Sky Park at night.
