Wormald House

Wormald House is a delightful bed and breakfast situated in the picturesque village of Wylam near Heddon-on-the-Wall, conveniently close to pubs, shops, restaurants, the river Tyne and Close House Golf Club. Owners Ian & Jayne welcome all travellers including walkers and cyclists and can offer free pick-up and drop-off for those following the Hadrian’s Wall Path.

There are 3 large bedrooms; two doubles and a twin, each with their own en suite facilities, smart-TVs, WiFI and extra touches to make you feel at home. A hearty full English breakfast is included, made from ethically-sourced ingredients, served alongside cereals, yoghurt, Jayne's homemade compote & homemade jam. Packed lunches can be provided on request.

Limited off-road parking is available but there is ample free parking on-road and in the public car park 1 minute away. Guests' bikes are stored safely indoors. Wylam is served by a main line train station just 5 minutes' walk away with its wonderful Grade 2 listed signal box.
