The Anglers Arms

Welcome to The Anglers Arms, an 18th century former coaching inn situated along the River Coquet in Weldon Bridge near Morpeth. Featuring comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation, great food and a friendly bar, it is ideally placed between the Northumberland National Park and coast for travellers visiting the area. Free parking is available on-site.

There is a double and a twin bedroom with en suite shower room, TV, telephone and hairdryer, as well as a spacious self-contained flat for 2 to 6 guests on the top floor, with its own double bedroom, private living room with TV, double bed settee, 2 chair beds and a luxurious bathroom down a spiral staircase. All of our accommodation is offered on a B & B basis, including a delicious home-cooked Northumbrian breakfast as well as a choice of cereals, toast, fruit, coffee and teas.

Stay for a superb lunch or an evening meal, served in the main bar. Our menus are available to view on our website and contain options for vegetarians and children. There are specials available throughout the week. We can also accommodate weddings, parties and business events. The Anglers Arms offer day tickets to those who wish to fish along our own private stretch of the river.
