Clachan Cottage and Anwoth Old Schoolhouse are 2 traditional stone-built cottages offering excellent self-catering holiday accommodation in the Gatehouse of Fleet, near Castle Douglas. Nestled in beautiful gardens and surrounded by the scenic Fleet Valley, they both provide a holiday home for couples and people who enjoy the outdoors. Both cottages have been carefully refurbished and modernised to keep their original charming features whilst offering all the modern facilities including Wifi. There is parking for both cottages.

Clachan Cottage has a cosy lounge with wood burning stove, 3-piece suite, TV, DVD player, dining table and French doors opening out to the garden; plus a traditional well-equipped kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. The Old Schoolhouse was featured in the 1973 film The Wickerman. Today, guests can relax in the lounge with its wood burner, comfortable seating, TV, DVD player, dining table and dual-aspect windows. There is also a hand-built kitchen and conservatory area, as well as a downstairs double bedroom and bathroom.
