Ernespie House Hotel

Ernespie House Hotel is a grand Georgian villa offering a friendly place to stay on the outskirts of Castle Douglas, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway. Family-owned, this hotel offers warm and welcoming hospitality, elegant guest rooms, delicious food and car parking.

The whole hotel has benefitted from a complete refurbishment over the last couple of years, so all rooms have a fresh feel, whilst retaining much of their original charm. There are double, twin, triple and family bedrooms for 3 or 4 guests. Some allow dogs. Each bedroom has en suite facilities, a TV and hospitality tray.

A delicious breakfast is included and we can also provide lunch, afternoon tea or dinner. All food served is home cooked from local produce, with options available for vegetarians and children. Guests can also enjoy a drink in the bar or explore the 14 acres of grounds and find the 19th century dovecot.
