Galloway Country Cottages have 3 Scandinavian-style holiday lodges to let in a beautiful rural setting in Barend near Dalbeattie. Visit Scotland 4-Star rated they provide all the facilities for a comfortable self-catering holiday. Surrounded by scenic walks, biking trails and only a mile from the beach, dogs are allowed too.

There is Kingfisher Lodge and Owl Lodge for up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms, one with en suite facilities, 2 lounges and a balcony on each level. Red Kite Lodge sleeps up to 4 guests with a downstairs twin/double bedroom, upstairs double bedroom, open plan living area downstairs and first floor lounge opening out onto a balcony.

All lodges are fully-equipped and include Wifi, central heating, Freeview TV, Bluetooth speakers, games console, kitchens that include a dishwasher, coffee machine and sandwich toaster; and they also have modern shower rooms. Guests can use the indoor heated swimming pool, soft play area and adventure playground on the Southerness Holiday Park, and there is also a bar and restaurant, golf course and deer park nearby.
