Barend Holiday Village

Welcome to Barend Holiday Village, a family-run park offering self-catering Scandinavian lodges and a traditional self-catering cottage to let, 5 miles outside Dalbeattie. Nestled around Barend Loch, just a short walk from Sandyhills Beach, there is also an on-site swimming pool, sauna and restaurant.

There are a variety of lodges available, with either a Visit Scotland 3 or 4-Star rating, including 6-berth, 8-berth, pet-friendly, pet-free, ones with ground floor bedrooms, multiple shower rooms or those with 3 toilets. All have an upstairs balcony, fully-equipped kitchen, Wifi, central heating, TV, outdoor dining area and car parking.

Our Visit Scotland 4-Star rated cottage is on ground floor level, with a lounge, living / dining room that opens out onto the outdoor veranda, kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom and shower room. A launderette is available on-site and we can also provide complimentary access to Craigieknowes Golf Course if you book direct.
