Greenhead Lodge

Nestled above the beautiful Cairn Valley on a family-run farm just 6 miles north-west of Dumfries, is the luxurious Greenhead Lodge. A self-catering holiday home for up to 8 guests with its own sauna, it offers a peaceful and relaxing holiday haven in Dumfries and Galloway. The local village is Dunscore which has a pub, post office and tea room.

The lodge has been sensitively converted from a former barn, featuring all the modern facilities including a lounge with Smart TV, DVD player, wood burning stove, dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The downstairs bedroom can be arranged with a king size or twin beds, and upstairs there is a twin / double room, a twin room and a flexible double bedroom in the mezzanine area.

There is also a bathroom, shower room, games room, 8-person sauna and Wifi throughout the lodge. The terrace garden outside has a seating area to enjoy the scenic views, and ample car parking. There are activities in the local area including golfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking and wildlife-watching. There is something for everyone, with open spaces for picnic or barbecues and lots of trails with spectacular views.
