Kirkdale Estate

Kirkdale Estate is a coastal country estate with stunning views of the Solway Coast. Situated 6-and-a-half miles outside of Gatehouse of Fleet, guests can choose to stay in one of 2 characterful cottages offering comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 6 guests. The estate is easily accessible from the main A75 road through Dumfries and Galloway.

Both of the cottages have been sensitively modernised to offer a comfortable lounge area with a wood burning stove, fully-equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and a bathroom. Kirkdale Port Cottage has its own garden that stretches down to the shoreline whereas Kirkdale Garden Cottage is set in 2 acres of private walled gardens.

There are a variety of activities on the doorstep, including mountain biking, walking, fishing, golf, horse-riding and sailing. The area is well-known for its beautiful walks, coastline and forest parks. Galloway Forest Park with its Dark Sky Park status is a short drive away and offers many outdoor activities during the day and stargazing opportunities at night.
