Craigmount Bed and Breakfast

Craigmount Bed and Breakfast is a 19th century manse house offering a welcoming place to stay along the High Street in Wigtown. Run by friendly hosts Nicole and Malcolm, this house provides a home-from-home, with scenic views across the bay and golf course, plus is well-placed to explore the coast and Galloway Forest Park.

All the rooms are light-filled and thoughtfully furnished; featuring en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a TV, hairdryer, beverage tray for making hot drinks, and a few surprises. There is a double room and a twin room overlooking the garden, and 2 family rooms with a double and 1 or 2 single beds overlooking the golf course.

A hearty full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room in the morning, made with home-grown ingredients or those from local suppliers, including haggis. The bread is homemade and gluten-free, plus vegetarian and vegan options can be provided. Wigtown is famous as a National Book town, with various bookshops close by.
