The Crown Hotel

The Crown Hotel is located in the centre of Newton Stewart, close to Galloway Forest Park. Offering excellent guest accommodation, a recently-refurbished restaurant and bar, plus a function room which can cater for large groups, weddings, parties and conferences, guests receive a warm welcome from owner Sinead and the staff team.

The 15 bedrooms are all nicely furnished and equipped with en suite facilities, TV and a well-stocked beverage tray. There are single, double, twin, family rooms and the junior deluxe suite in the rear annexe which has a double bedroom, a single room and a living area with kitchenette. Dogs are happily allowed, but let us know on booking.

Breakfast is included in overnight room tariffs and room service can be provided. Queens is the hotel bar and The Knights Restaurant offers a wide-ranging menu including steaks, fajitas, pasta and burgers, as well as options for children, vegan and gluten-free diets.
