Glenquicken Farm

Glenquicken Farm is a working farm offering 3 self-catering holiday cottages and a glamping hut in the heart of the Galloway countryside. A haven for outdoors enthusiasts, the 7Stanes mountain biking trails and Galloway Forest Park (with Dark Sky Status) are close by. There is also an on-site lake for those who enjoy trout fishing.

Stable Cottage, converted from the former stables, has a large double bedroom sleeping 2 people, and is fully accessible for guests with mobility difficulties. Lodge Cottage was the old granary and bothy, now providing accommodation for 5 in 2 bedrooms (with room for extra folding beds if required). Mill Cottage is the former corn mill, now presenting as an upside-down cottage sleeping 6 in 2 bedrooms. All 3 cottages have central heating, a modern kitchen, living area, TV and parking. Dogs are allowed with prior arrangement.

In addition, The Sheddings is a wooden glamping hut which is perfect for fishing, walking or cycling breaks. There are 3 bunks, heating, basic cooking facilities and access to the communal shower, toilets and dishwashing sink. Water for the farm and cottages is provided from a private spring. Guests can explore the farm, with its abundance of wildlife including deer, hares, pheasants, ducks, buzzards, hawks, numerous garden birds and a white barn owl.
