Herton Guest House

Welcome to Herton Guest House, situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple in North Devon. A 17th century former farmhouse surrounded by open fields and countryside; it provides a friendly place to stay. There is off-road parking, and we can provide long term car parking for walkers and cyclists following the South West Coast Path or Tarka Trail. The railway station and the south side of Barnstable is only half a mile away.

Overlooking the garden, we have a double en suite bedroom and another double room with a private bathroom. They are both equipped with a flat screen TV, clock/radio, hairdryer, toiletries and hospitality tray. There is also a self-contained cottage suite with a double room, twin room, living room, kitchen, bathroom and small garden, available for either self-catering or bed and breakfast. A full English breakfast is included.

Barnstaple is a bustling market town with plenty of independent shops and larger stores. There is surfing and swimming at the nearby beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacoombe and several golf courses in the area. RHS Rosemoor Garden, National Trust's Arlington Court, Marwood Hill and Tapeley Park are a short drive away. In addition, Exmoor National Park is within 12 miles.
