The Melville Guest House

The Melville Guest House is an attractive Victorian home, well-located in the Devon fishing town of Brixham. A former trawler’s residence built in the 1890s, today guests can enjoy AA 4-Star rated accommodation and excellent hospitality from owners Colin and Jackie.

There are double and twin rooms with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer and beverage tray. Standard Rooms have a mini fridge and TV, whereas our Superior Room also has a comfortable lounge area. There is also a day room that guests can relax in at the end of a busy day.

A full English or vegetarian breakfast is available in the morning. Vegan or gluten-free breakfasts can also be provided by arrangement. The harbour, shops, pubs and eateries are only a 5-minute walk from the guest house. Visitors can take a boat trip, try locally-caught seafood or local ales and browse the lovely gift shops.
