Royal Castle Hotel

Standing proudly along the harbour in Dartmouth, Royal Castle Hotel is a 17th century hotel with superb views across the River Dart. We have a friendly staff team, comfortable guest rooms, award-winning restaurant and 2 bars. Ideal for stopovers, short breaks and holidays in South Devon, we welcome families, walkers and cyclists.

All 24 rooms are individual, with original characterful features and contemporary furnishings. Choose from single, double, twin and family-sized bedrooms. Some have river views and there are also dog-friendly rooms. All bedrooms have en suite facilities, toiletries, handmade mattresses, a TV, free Wifi, hospitality tray and a seating area.

In the morning, choose from a range of options including a Full English or Vegetarian Breakfast, Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Sandwich or a warming bowl of traditional creamy porridge. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner with a menu of British classics, with options for children and special diets.
