Culverhayes Cottages

Culverhayes Cottages are located in the sleepy Devon village of Sampford Courtenay, just 10 minutes’ drive from the A30 road and 4 miles from Dartmoor National Park. We offer 2 beautiful 17th century cob and stone cottages set in the idyllic grounds of Culverhayes House, a country house set within 10 acres.

Hopetown Cottage sleeps 6 and has cosy open log fires, Laura Ashley oak furniture and is ideal for the larger family or group of friends. Spice Cottage sleeps 5 and features oak beamed ceilings and a log burning stove, complemented by designer furniture and a 'secret' loft room that’s always popular with children.

Each cottage has its own garden with furniture and a barbecue for outside relaxation and al fresco dining. Guests are always welcome to explore the gardens and there is plenty of room for children and well-behaved dogs to play. Culverhayes Cottages provides the perfect base from which to explore the countryside and coast of Devon.
