The Southgate B&B

Southgate B & B is a former pub with an attractive whitewashed stone exterior and rustic exposed timber struts, situated in the village of Hunmanby on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and just 3 miles from the popular seaside town of Filey. There is free parking next to the B & B. Owners Chris and Julie offer a warm welcome.

The 7 rooms are decorated in a contemporary style, with en suite facilities, a TV/DVD player or Smart TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and beverage tray. There are double and twin rooms, plus a ground floor family room with a wet room, double bed, a single and sofa bed. This room is also suitable for guests with disabilities.

The lounge has a licensed bar area and there is also a small library of books and DVDs. A tasty full English or lighter breakfast is served in the large dining room in the morning. Special diets are happily accommodated; just let us know at the time of booking. Travel cots and highchairs can be provided if required.
