Overdale Cottage

A quiet and secluded holiday home for 6 people in the Yorkshire Dales, Overdale Cottage is located in the hamlet of Burterset in beautiful Wensleydale, near the market town of Hawes. Guests will find scenic views across open countryside and a perfect base from which to relax or go walking, cycling and sight-seeing in the Dales.

The sitting room has a wood burning stove, comfortable seating and FreeSat TV. The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering and includes a dishwasher and dining table. The main bedroom has dual-aspect windows and a double bed and there is another double room, plus a room with bunk beds, as well as a family bathroom, additional WC and a boot room with a washing machine and storage space.

The cottage has an enclosed garden with a patio, a driveway for car parking and a garage for the storing of bicycles and equipment. Dogs are allowed with prior permission. There is wonderful scenery all around and excellent walking on grassy paths from the front door. The walk into Hawes is along a historic stone flagged path through meadows.
