The Cross Keys

The Cross Keys is a Visit England 3-Star rated village pub with separate bed and breakfast accommodation, situated in Thixendale, along the Yorkshire Wolds Way trail and well-located for other walks and cycle routes. The Howardian Hills are a short drive away and we are conveniently placed between York and the coast.

The B & B accommodation is only available to those over 14 years. There are 2 twin rooms and a double room, each with their own en suite facilities, seating area, radio alarm clock and refreshments tray. A tasty Yorkshire breakfast is included to ensure a good start to the day. There is secure storage for bicycles and a drying room. Walkers transport is also available.

The pub is open from lunch time offering a variety of drinks, including real ales. Bar meals are served at lunchtime and in the evening from a menu of British classics, including options for vegetarians. There is also a beer garden outside.
