Town End Farm Cottage is a traditional 18th century cottage sited on the outskirts of Pickering which is known as the ‘Gateway to the North York Moors’. Sensitively refurbished to provide all the modern comforts of a self-catering holiday home, the cottage retains original charming features including beamed ceilings and sash windows. Sleeping up to 6 guests, dogs are also welcome.

There is a sitting room with comfortable seating and a TV, a well-appointed kitchen with electric cooker, washing machine and coffee machine; a dining room, 2 double bedrooms, a twin room with wash basin and a bathroom. Central heating and Wifi is available throughout. Outside, there is a large garden with patio, pond and a garden room. There is off-road parking for 2 cars and local bus services to York and Whitby stop outside the house.

It is approximately 10 minutes’ walk to the centre of Pickering, where guests will find a host of excellent independent shops, places to eat and drink, as well as many attractions, including the 13th century Pickering Castle, southern terminus of the North York Moors Heritage Railway, the Beck Isle Museum and more. Market day is Monday, and there's a farmers' market on the first Thursday of each month.
