Thirkleby Hall Caravan Park offer self-catering holiday caravans and a camping site on an old country estate with woodland and a fishing lake, between Thirsk and York. Nestled in over 30 acres of private land on the edge of the North York Moors, it provides a great holiday base for families, friends and outdoors enthusiasts.

We have a 3-bedroomed ABI Wimbledon caravan which sleeps 6 guests and a 2-bedroomed ABI Oakdale which sleeps 4 guests for holiday lets. Each has a modern interior featuring comfortable seating, a TV, well-equipped kitchenette and car parking area outside. Dogs are allowed by arrangement. Free Wifi is included.

The campsite has a range of grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with seasonal pitches and winter storage also available. There is an on-site launderette, and all guests have free fishing rights for the lake.

Nearby Thirsk has many shops, places to eat and pubs. As the birthplace of Thomas Lord, founder of Lord's Cricket Ground, and spiritual home of author James Herriot, Thirsk is a popular place to visit. The World of James Herriot is an award-winning museum and visitor centre which attracts people from around the world.
