The Alexander

The Alexander is a family-owned Victorian bed and breakfast situated in a quiet residential area near Cambridge city centre. Just around the corner from the railway station and with off-road parking, it is ideally placed for a city break. AA and Visit England 4-Star rated, we welcome tourists and business guests alike.

Both bedrooms have their own en suite facilities, a television, radio alarm clock, free Wifi, hairdryer and beverage tray. One room has a double bed and the other can be arranged with twin beds or a king size bed. Guests can also use the fridge, washer and microwave. A front door key is provided.

Single supplements and room-only rates are available. Longer stays can also be arranged and we can provide a free laundry service for those staying for more than 1 week. There are many local bus services to the city centre and bike hire is available locally if you want to get around on 2 wheels!
