Glan Yr Afon

Glan Yr Afon is an 18th century stone cottage offering self-catering accommodation in a small Welsh village in the centre of Snowdonia. Located a mile outside Blaenau Ffestiniog, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and access to a wide range of outdoors activities, this is an ideal base for exploring the National Park.

Sleeping up to 4 guests, dogs are also welcome at the cottage. The lounge provides a wood burning stove in an inglenook fireplace, beautiful beamed ceilings, leather sofas, a Smart TV and a dining table / chairs. The modern kitchen is fully-fitted with an integrated electric oven, separate gas hob, microwave and washer / dryer.

Upstairs, the 2 bedrooms are a double and a second room with a single and pull-out bed. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower over. There is central heating and Wifi. Outside, is a patio area both front and back, and a parking space. Tanygrisiau Reservoir is 3 minutes’ walk away and Cwmorthin Waterfall is less than half a mile.
