Carrog Station Camp Site offers a beautiful location along the River Dee in Denbighshire North Wales, providing facilities for tourers, campers and glampers. Just 8 miles from Llangollen, 12 miles from Ruthin and easily located off the A5 road, it is ideal for people looking for a convenient stopover or tourists exploring the Dee Valley.

Touring caravans, motorhomes and tents can all be accommodated on our flat site, with electric hook-ups and a choice of hardstanding or grass pitches. There are also modern and well-maintained toilets / showers, a washing up area, chemical disposal points and drive-over grey waste disposal. Our camping pods are fully insulated, with electricity. Dogs, rallies and expeditions are welcome.

Adjacent to the restored Carrog Steam Railway Station, guests can jump on the steam train on the Llangollen and Corwen Railway or visit the tea rooms. There is also an inn on the other side of the river which serves food. Llangollen is a popular small town also on the River Dee, on the edge of the Berwyn Mountains, with plenty of shops and places to eat, as well as a busy calendar of festivals and events.
