The Grousemoor Country House

The Grousemoor is a spacious country house situated on the edge of the Llandegla Forest, near the village of Pen-y-stryt. Recently refurbished to offer self-catering accommodation for up to 14 guests, it provides a comfortable place to stay. The house has facilities for disabled guests, including ramps in and out of the property, a ground floor bedroom and a walk-in shower.

Inside the property is a large living room with wood burning stove in the stone fireplace, comfortable sofas, high backed chairs and a Smart TV at one end, with a dining area at the other and bar in the middle. The contemporary kitchen is fully-equipped including an electric Aga stove, gas hob, breakfast bar plus 2 dishwashers and an American-style fridge freezer in the utility room.

There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs, each with en suite facilities. The Pheasant Suite has its own open plan living area and 2 en suite bedrooms. There is Wifi and central heating throughout the house and ample off-road parking. Extras including champagne or afternoon tea can be provided with prior agreement.
