Sunnyside Cottage

Sunnyside Cottage is a delightful bed and breakfast situated in the pretty village of Rodmell, 3 miles south of Lewes. Nestled in the valley of the River Ouse and just a short drive from the beautiful seaside towns along the south coast, this B & B provides a welcoming and friendly place to stay.

The guest room has twin beds, en suite shower facilities and a private sitting room, with children and pets also allowed. Outside, there is a lovely garden with a lawn, patio and off-road car parking. A full English breakfast is served in the morning, made from locally-produced ingredients and ensuring a good start to the day.

Rodmell is well-known as the former countryside home of Virginia Woolf, whose home of Monk’s House enjoys spectacular views and is now a National Trust property. The village also has an excellent pub which is a popular ‘watering hole’ for walkers on the South Downs Way.
