Dean’s Place is a family-owned country house hotel situated in the village of Alfriston, within 4 acres of grounds on the banks of the Cuckmere River, in the South Downs National Park. This hotel offers 36 bedrooms, AA 2-Rosette Awarded dining, an outdoor seasonal swimming pool and croquet lawn. In close proximity to Lewes, Eastbourne and Brighton, the hotel is easily accessible from the M25, M23, A22 and Gatwick.

All of the guest bedrooms are elegantly furnished, well-equipped and provide a wonderful space in which to rest and relax. Choose from a selection of rooms including Basic, Double With Terrace, Courtyard Double, Accessible With Terrace, Double With Views, Superior, Superior With South Downs Views and Junior Suites. Designated rooms are dog-friendly and dogs are allowed in all public areas except the Dining Room.

Harcourts Restaurant makes use of locally-sourced produce to create traditional British dishes. Afternoons may be spent on the outdoor terrace sipping afternoon tea or enjoying some light bites, while a heated outdoor swimming pool provides further relaxation in the warmer months.
